Hello,

My wife and I are thinking of buying in Newbury Park. She works in Van Nuys as a teacher, so she normally leaves the house at 6 am. She normally leaves work at 2:15 pm. My question is, what will the traffic be like on a typical day at those times? It would be temporary until she found a job closer to home. Any input that you guys might have would be appreciated.

Thanks

Shouldn't be too bad either way. It may slow a little bit in Woodland Hills in the morning especially if the sun is in everyone's eyes. Those are pretty nice hours. It may slow just a tad at the 101/23 interchange heading west in the PM, but she'd hit that around 2:45-3:00 so maybe not.

Coming home should only take a half hour. Hope she finds a job closer soon. NP is a great place to live.
