The driver of the truck fled in another vehicle and took the keys to the vehicle with him, the CHP said.
Let's hope they confiscate the truck and require reimbursement for CHP manpower used, plus any other charges they can throw at them including illegal parking, impound fees, court costs, creating a public nuisance. I'm not a lawyer, are there any other applicable charges?

Oh, and lose that truck in the wrong impound lot! And make sure the instruments are in the truck before it's impounded.

A shame they weren't blocking the 710 at Florence instead so the truck could've gotten impounded by the city of Bell!

These idiot dbags look like DGAF castoffs who live to blaze & blare Kottonmouth Kings. Honestly they need to spend a whole year picking up trash off the freeways for their PR stunt.

A pretty brazen stunt for sure. I only wish I was their lead singer (ok, maybe an over 45ish white female rap artist).

Someone should have set the truck on fire with them on top.

Thanks for the rep point. I guess you've never had your day screwed up by idiots blocking traffic for hours.

As a PR stunt, that was a spectacular failure. I don't care who this band is; I'm never supporting anything they do after this ridiculous move - and I wasn't even stuck on the 101!
