Maxine Waters, if she were governor, would put California back where it belongs. She seems has a plan to get the economy moving, helping consumers, and ending global warming.

The only place that Maxine Waters gets votes is in the district she represents. No one else would vote for her.

1: She has major ethics violations with bailing out her husband's bank.

2: She is Racist

3: I didn't know that she was God and could change the weather. She can't fix global warming any more than she can stop an earthquake. Both are natural.

4: Help consumers from what?

5: Government has yet to control the economy other than thru artificial means. We have a market economy and as such the market decides what happens.

6: As far as I know California is right where it belongs, next to Arizona and Nevada, South of Oregon, North of Mexico and next to the Pacific Ocean. Where does she plan on putting it?

Democracy in action. Give only the two most corrupt parties a voice. Pathetic.

what does this have to do with that the OP posted?

Also ... that is a terrible article with almost zero fact.

Edit: If you're interested in facts .... read this article: http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/10/...ted/index.html

LMAO. No way.

The only person I can think of on the planet that would be a worse choice is ........ well....... definitely Meg Whitman.

One of the tough problems for Ms Waters as a candidate is the nature of her coalition. For a long time in California she's worked hard to build a strong coalition of African-American elected officials. This has been a crucial job: because blacks have been under-represented in government, and she's help bring up some good people. If it weren't for people like here, there might not be any blacks in local politics at all.

But the old black powerbase is fading away: African Americans (like whites) have been fleeing both the city of LA and the state of California.

She hasn't done enough to promote herself outside her base, and she isn't seen as one who pays attention to people outside her base.
