Is the 4th and Alamitos area of Long Beach safe?
How about 2nd and Parcells in Pomona?

4th and Alamitos not a great area. General rule in Long Beach is south of 7th east of Cherry.

4th and Alamitos is not bad if its on the south/east side of 4th. I wouldn't go above 4th right there though.

The general rule I've heard of is stay below 4th until Redondo. 4th and Alamitos is arguably better than say, 6th and Junipero (which is south of 7th east of Cherry).
