Charter is horrible. It took their techs 3 visits to our home to get the cable/internet installed properly and they left us with damage to the wall and broke some faceplates. They are terrible to deal with as far as customer service goes and only when I called to cancel were they all over me to stay because of the great deals they could offer me.

I got a notification today that Charter is increasing the rate of expanded cable service from $30.00 per month to $33.00. Let's see...they took away KCET, Bravo, Oxygen, GSN, TCM and TVLand. Lost six channels and the rate goes up. Gee, that makes a lot of sense. That's why I hate Charter.

When Charter installed my modem, they literally gave me 1 1/2' of cable to work with. My modem has to be no further than 1 1/2' from the wall, near the floor, which makes it impossible to have it anywhere convenient. Basically, it sits on the floor, next to my entertainment center, and looks ugly. I didn't realize until the "tech" guy had left.
