Don't watch hockey, but there has been a lot of hockey buzz in LA recently.

P.S. Chicks in huge hockey jerseys are hot.

man, the kings simply cannot lose on the road. it's unbelievable, really.

even with tonight's win by the kings, i still think this is going to be a long, tough series. while i'm expecting the kings to ultimately take the stanley cup, it could easily go the other way.

Kings up, 2 games to none. Could finish a sweep in L.A.

yet another win by the kings - and this time, they absolutely dominated the devils for most of game 3, winning 4-0. looks like they might sweep this series, as they look unstoppable right now.

from the devils' perspective, i think the heartbreaking manner in which they lost games 1 and 2 - in overtime and at home - absolutely broke their collective spirits. had they won either of those games - and they really should've beaten the kings in game 2 - i think this series would've ended up going at least six games. game 2 was their chance to get back in the series, but once they lost in such a deflating fashion for the second game in a row, i figured this series was probably over.

even so, the devils started out with a lot of energy tonight and had some really good chances early in the game. but not being able to score when they had a 5-on-3 advantage during the first period was a killer for them. then the kings scored in the 2nd period, followed by another goal later on, and finally two more in the third period to ice the game.

the thing which has really impressed me with the kings' postseason run (besides jonathan quick's goaltending) is how they've scored first in so many of their games, which has put a lot of pressure on their opponent to play catch-up. and that's exactly what happened again tonight.

i just had a baby, but having been a kings fan since before i can even remember, this rivals the joy my son has brought me. not quite actually, but it has certainly been fun and brought some energy back to my otherwise exhausting life.

Work had a raffle for King's Finals Game for games 3, 4 and 6 if needed. And usually Laker's playoffs/finals.

Unfortunately, I skipped the King's raffle hoping for the Lakers to be in the Finals, but my luck wasn't this year (nor the Lakers).
