I agree about the theatre district along Broadway. It would be great to see the whole Historic Core restored to its former glory, but I think it will take some time and will be more gradual.

We'll have to agree to disagree on H&H. I didn't say it was a failure, by the way. I just think it has turned out to be more of a tourist destination than a gathering place for locals in the way The Grove, Third Street, and Old Town have become. Overall, I think H&H is good for Hollyood Blvd.

I've always liked New Development, especially if it's in areas that need Revitalization, because as we all know,Downtown L.A and Hollywood have been dead for many years,so it's wonderful to these areas coming back to life.

Downtown L.A and Hollywood also needs to get rid of the Cheezy Shops and start bringing in more Upscale Shopping,Dining,Etc.

Those cheesy shops are for tourists...just like those cheesy shops you find at any amusement park or city. Forbestraveler.com named Los Angeles the second most visited city in the United States after Las Vegas! Besides we are trying to make Los Angeles more affordable so we already have enough upscale shopping and dining. The good thing is that LA Live is going to have shopping and dining for all incomes.
