But yeah, Venice Beach is part of the City of Los Angeles and therefore it's not family friendly. Most children in the city are juveniles and rebellious teenagers. The same goes for Long Beach.

I'd say Glendale, Burbank, Torrance, Cerritos, and the beach cities are suitable.
At least you understand. It's almost as if respecting one's personal affairs is slowly becoming a thing of the past. Venice Beach, I agree, is an interesting place (but only to visit for it's all you said and more.) Sadly, I did not have enough time to visit Venice Beach when I was last there. When I go again, I'll be sure to visit that and the other cities you mentioned. People definitely seem to like those cities better anyways. A beach city was what I had in mind anyways. Thank you very much.

People come on this board seeking information. Age is relevant to certain neighborhoods. An upper 50s male might not want to live near The Grove or a 25 year old might not want to live in Chatsworth. It's anonymous so who cares.

Same goes for income. People come on this board ALL the time saying they want to rent a place in WeHo for $750 a month one bedroom.

It's anonymous so the more accurate information, the more posters can help.

I also said ''etc.'' That means any other city in the area I did not mention. The only time I will really move to the L.A. area is if I have to. When I was last in Long Beach, parts of it seemed alright, and other parts look like they have seen better days. The city of L.A. itself (as a place to live in) is out of the question for me.

I think you misunderstood the previous poster. They were not asking you your income or marital status, they were only saying that whether you like an area or not could potentially be determined by those factors. I think their wording was confusing.
