#4 is the funniest out of all those, though some of those others are hilarious.

The Twinkie defense wouldn't work now because CA no longer allows for irresistable impulse defenses. (I'm surprised that Roman Polanski didn't try that defense which Dan White used, as it was permissable at the time.)

Too bad they can't also charge the ignorant savage's entire gang for the crime he committed, then after convicted, give them ALL the maximum punishment.

I think each gang member should be held responsible for the crimes that any ONE of them commit.

I.e. calling in the feds to bring RICO charges. Good idea.
Is there any CA state equivalent of RICO?
I also think that recruiting minors into a gang or conspiring to recruit minors into a gang should put someone on the Megan's Law list, although I think there might be some legal and financial barriers to doing so. Being on such a list would make recruitment of new members much less attractive to gangbangers.

To bad they can't stick these perps in another states prison after they're convicted. I think Louisiana State Prison (aka Angola) would be a perfect hell hole for them. This would keep them from hanging out with their gang bang buddies while incarcerated and they would have a life of hard labor out in the sweltering and extremely humid weather.

Federal charges could get them sent to another state.
For weather and conditions like Angola how about Beaumont Federal Prison in East Texas?

Yeah, I'm sure that would be just as awful weather wise. The main thing is to get them out of their element so their prison sentence would be a great degree worse than getting locked up with people they are already affiliated with.
