I looking for a good low-cost JC or Community College just to start out before I transfer to a university to start my major that I want Computer Science, I'm kind of out of the loop I left high school about 5 years joined the military and now I want to go to school (college)? please HELP!!!

what happened to SMC? it had a great rep, with a high UC transfer rate, in the 80s. has that changed?

Pasadena City College is awesome. It's located in a great area, it's one of the top UC feeder schools in the state, and many professors there actually have PhDs.

For sure El Camino...and try to live in the beach cities...Playa del Rey, Manhattan beach, Hermosa Beach. It's the best...you will love it there!

L.A. Trade tech is better then east los angeles college. And easier to get to if you live near the city.
