El Camino College in Torrance is excellent.
Glendale College is smaller an is also quite good.
PCC (Pasadena City College) is a nice school in a nice town.

Pasadena City College is awesome. It's located in a great area, it's one of the top UC feeder schools in the state, and many professors there actually have PhDs.

Glendale College is horrible... to me it felt like I was back in high school. No AC in some rooms, parking is terrible, and not to be racist, but it's full of Armenians who always hang out in their own social cliques and don't speak a word of English.

I went there for 2 years 2001-2003. I don't go to school to socialize so I enjoyed the good education I got. I've never had teachers give me the time I got there and I've been to 3 colleges. I never encountered a class with no a/c. My biggest gripe was hiking up the side of a mountain to the upper parking lot. As far as Armenians, if you don't like them, don't go there.

Santa Monica College is still good. I guess that most of previous posters don't know too much about it.
