Already talking about demonstrations, and I see things getting out of control fast.

The Mehersle case is just another reason why I don't trust cops and why I believe the system is rigged.

Of course the sheep will defend Mehersle and buy the argument that he was reaching for his taser, and defend the cops like usual.

If I played death pools, Mehersle would be my number 1 pick.

Poisoning the well, of course.

Do you think Mehserle intentionally shot Grant in the back when he knew there was a multitude of witnesses?

Try watching one of the better-quality videos before you draw conclusions.

It should be obvious to anyone that Mehserle made a terrible mistake that will haunt him for the rest of his life, however long it may be.

I sympathize with Mehserle's family who will be harassed for the rest of their lives for something they didn't do.

Of course, Mehserle's release will be an excuse for a mob of savages to riot and damage downtown Oakland, costing the taxpayers a healthy sum for the cleanup and again costing business owners for at least the expense of replacing the broken windows.

The big difference between the two wrongs will be that Mehserle's was an accident whereas the rioters' will be premeditated.

As bad as it was for Mehserle to grab his service weapon as opposed to the X-26, these protesters seem to be overlooking the fact that Oscar Grant wasn't no angel himself either.

Drug-dealing in the past with time served in state, running from then getting tasered by police after being caught with a weapon he shouldn't have.

It's sad the guy got killed and all, but raising him to some "God-like" pedestal is just ridiculous.

You really showed your true colors when you use the word savages. I was seeing your point of view up to that point. But in the end, you're just another closet racist. And in so saying - I have no sympathy for Mehserle or his family.
