Last year the whole summer was like this, hope we don't get a repeat of that!

Reminds me of this hilarious skit Conan did on his show shortly after moving to LA, the skit was about a bunch of LA people panicking and going apesh*t when it rains slightly

Yes, we are spoiled but the last month has been pretty bad. It's like the Lakers...they've won so many championships that when they don't make it in a given season people get disappointed.

The Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO) does have us in a cooling period where we will see slighlty cooler weather (4 to 7 degrees cooler on average) for the next decade. Same pattern that existed from 1947 to 1976.

the clouds are normal for this time of year, but the precipitation is odd. It's only a mist, but it's heavy enough and lasting long enough to cause puddles on the street. this is not normal. I'm curious to see how long this weather sticks around and if we'll have 'june gloom' all summer like we did last year. now that i live in the valley, i'm totally okay with a mild summer. living by the beach last year was pretty terrible though, we only had a handful of days where the temps broke 70.

The clouds did finally give us a bit of rain very early today.

I don't think I'm spoiled as far as some of the comments go around here, I don't like grey skies all day long for weeks on end.

The sun came out briefly yesterday evening and it was nice for a change to have a little sunshine.

You're in the Valley now? You'll need to change your handle to BRinSFV
