I've been to some DMVs in Long Beach and Compton and most of the employees (mostly female and some men) acted like they got a chip on their shoulder.

Which DMV do you think is the friendliest and is less crowded?

I am going to assume the most friendly DMV is 20% friendlier than the least friendly DMV - I mean people are people and employees are random so how much friendly can one DMV be than another? So, with that, how far are you willing to drive away from the most convenient DMV to visit the "friendliest" DMV?

Also, depending on what service you need fro the DMV, you might use AAA.

Simi Valley tends to have significantly shorter lines, it's worth the drive for me from the San Fernando Valley

If you're close to Long Beach and Compton, also nearby are the ones in Bellflower and Bell Gardens.

Long Beach has been the best one I've been to. Bad luck in Bellflower and Garden Grove

all the dmv's I've been to have been fine, but when I lost my drivers license a while ago and had to get a new one, I went to the cole st. hollywood one almost at close, there was barely any wait at all and the guy was really nice.

Santa Monica DMV is okay considering it's a DMV
