Apparently there is a big soccer match in Pasadena this weekend between the US and Mexico. I would venture to guess that the crowd in attendance will probably be 75% for Mexico with only 25% for the US. Regardless of who wins, I just hope there isn't any rioting afterwards.

Yeah, it's for the Gold Cup final. I've been to other US/Mex games before and the rivalry just makes the game that much better. They usually don't get out of hand, but I'm still reluctant to wear my US jersey out of fear of getting Dodger'd

its going to be tons of traffic, i went to a mexico game to the rose bowl, a freindly game and it took me 4 hours to get there from costa mesa, now just imagen a championship classic game

jorge112597 is right. I went to see the FC Barcelona vs. LA Galaxy game last year. The stadium was sold out to capacity and it took us 2hrs just to leave the parking lot!

that freindly game i went to had a capacit of over 100,000 and it was just a freindly game

90,000 tickets were sold for this final before anybody knew who was playing! But it is reasonably expected that USA and/or Mexico will get there, so that obviously drives sales.

During the group stages it was made pretty clear that either or both were going to make it. But that is the nature of our confederation. It's the US and Mexico vs dozens of tiny countries.
