Hello, I've recently moved to LA from New Jersey. I've never experienced an earthquake, even a small one. I'd like to know when the date is for the next big one. This way I can make plans to be out of town that day. Thanks.

2 July 2011 at 2:49 PM. It will not be too big though. Just a 6.9. A magnitude 8.2 will strike in 2087 though. You might want to tell your future children to be out of town then.

I'm pretty good at this predicting stuff. I successfully purchased an investment home about a month before the bubble burst

LOL.

I need a prediction too but for Charleston, SC. In 1886, a 7.3 struck and it was total disaster. Just finished a book last night that complains small EQs are ignored here and no one is prepared for another big one. According to the book, over the last 6000 yrs an EQ of this mag has hit this area every 500 yrs or so. Or earlier.

OOPS, JUST MOVED HERE. .... I will be getting EQ insurance and following LA threads re EQ as I am only 20 miles from the fault line.

Don't put that negative energy out there! It's going to hit you when you least expect it.

I talked to God a little bit ago.

He wants to keep it a secret but is urging you to store food and water.
