Tell me about it. I met him Wednesday night, then we walked to the Orpheum to a packed house. Everytime I go down there I see new restaurants, businesses, shops, gigs. I used to go to the Artists District back in the early 80's, back when rents were amazingly cheap. The bubble has burst down there, but lots of places still command top dollar. If only I had known.

And for the few yuppies who choose to reside in DLA, will pay heavily for secured, spacious pkg garages...and need to drive to Westside for basic yuppie amenities/errands like upscale groceries, dry cleaners, etc...and to escape heat/smog of inland LA for any outdoor exercise...or even a pleasure drive in coastal canyons...
I know this poster is a troll but I just wanted to point out the Royal Couple are attending a red carpet event at the newly revitalized Belasco Theater in Downtown Los Angeles during their visit to So.Calif.
