Does 3:00 a.m. work for you? Just watch out for lane closures due to construction!

Leave at around 10:30am. Take the 134 to the 5. DO NOT TAKE THE 101!

Los Angeles drivers are morons. As such they do not know how to properly merge, and the 101 backs up every single day(weekday or weekend) from the 110 to about Sunset or Hollywood Bl. On a good day, it will only be backed up to Vermont.

BTW, on the 5 south, stay in the right hand lane all the way to the 2 FWY. Again, Los Angeles drivers are really really stupid. For some inexplicable reason, the right hand lane of the 5 Fwy from the 134 to the 2 moves at around 25-30mph faster than any other lane on the 5. This includes taking the ramp off at Los Feliz Bl, which re-enters the fwy a half mile south. I'd take the 5 down to the 60 East, but if theres traffic on the 5 south after Main St, you can also take the 10 East to the 605 South.

It still won't be a very fun drive. But there shouldn't be any traffic other than what I mentioned. Make sure you're on your way home by around 2pm or so.
