Ok, so I know a lot of people here are knowledgeble on the South Bay. The other day I drove from manchester to imperial, essentially through Inglewood. I thought it was overall, rather pretty. I saw businesses and beautiful homes. When I passed by Morningside High, it got a little rough but got better by Imperial, at least with the residential streets. With a new mayor, can Inglewood become a respectable city again? I've noticed their crime rate is dropping pretty well. I remember when the city was 100% white. Can it become a decent place again?

Anything is possible. Even in the worst times there were/are still nice enclaves in the city. Although the Lakers leaving the venue The Forum for The Staples Center was a major blow to revenue for the city.

I live in South Inglewood. In mu opinion, things are getting better. There are some lovely parts like Morningside Park and Century Heights. I think it is a vital part of the South Bay despite its rep, and I'm hoping the new mayor and the decreasing/tanking crime rate will attract more people.
