There are great homes in North Inglewood area (North of Centinella, West of LaBrea) with nice large lots, beautiful neighborhood, and a good location that is relatively close to to everything, and LAX. It is close to Old Ladera and Upper Ladera, which are great neighborhoods.

One can get some really good buys right now in the area~

Based on your past two threads you either do not know anything about Los Angeles whatsover, or are wasting time with ridiculous questions. Are you seriously asking if compton is a good area? are you kidding? Yea its a great area, they are doing "compton housewives next season" and I hear its the next beverly hills.

You are a perfect example of someone who should rent close to work with 1-2 roomates and get a feel for the city. I get this feeling you have no idea the cost of living and ownership in LA. If you live in Inglewood, Compton, Encino, Van Nuys, Tarzana Etc....you will not be living in an area that will make you look good in the eyes of promotors and the club going crowd. my 2 cents as someone who lives on the south side of the hill. The areas you are looking at are dud's, thats why they are so cheap.

You said your boss is paying you $100k a year and he wants you to "live the part" in or around weho. And now you're asking about Inglewood and Compton? Something doesn't compute here.

BTW there's nice parts of Compton and that isn't an oxymoron. South LA is just stigmatized so badly that one would never care to look. It's somewhat offensive to talk about Compton so poorly considering the overwhelming population of that City and others are hard-working, "regular" families who have nothing to do with gangbanging and illegal activities.

Inglewood is ok. I could live maybe live there. It's kind of like a more urban Carson, but much closer to stuff to do in LA. It wouldn't be my first choice though. Culver City is nicer.

Inglewood isn't safe for white people.
