PCH is the main artery from LA to Malibu and anything from wild fires to storms & slides can close it, and it happens a lot more than you could imagine

Like tonight at about 7:30pm it was moving about 3-5 mph from a bit passed topanga all the way into santa monica....I ended cutting through a canyon after Getty and worked my way around.

Do keep in mind traffic on PCH can be unpredictable.

Thanks for all the advice! Working from home shouldn't be a problem, but I hadn't even thought about mudslides and fires shutting down the only main road into Malibu. When I lived in San Diego, nothing ever closed the roads down, so I wouldn't have even thought about it!
