It would be pretty bad.

Doable of course, but bad. I'd say at LEAST an hour each way.

I commuted from Anaheim to Los Feliz, but also had to pick up my wife some days near the Miracle Mile. AND I left early 6am and got home early 3-4pm.

I took the 91 to the 5N to the 10 and got off on Crenshaw, to Wilshire... Then I'd take Wilshire all the way back to Western, to Los Feliz Blvd then home. That took about 1h 30min at LEAST.

I just don't know how bad the 10 is in the morning, I'm guessing pretty bad.

Majority would be reverse commuting so it's do-able although not pleasant by any means.
I go back and forth from Fullerton-WeHo a couple times a week during non peak hours. Fullerton-Weho leave at 3pm and it takes me between 45-55 minutes with normal traffic. Weho-Fullerton is done late late at night and I can do it in 35min.

I used to commute from Fullerton to Downtown LA for school and the 5 going southbound in the mornings seemed to have pretty light traffic most of the time. Going home northbound, the worst traffic you'll find is the stretch between Alondra/Carmenita and the 605 where it bottlenecks pretty badly in the city of Norwalk. It should be pretty smooth from there until you get up to the 710/5 merge leading up to the 101/5/10 interchange.
