The article titled "Accent on Brits" was published in the Image section of the Los Angeles Times on April 18. I thought this might be helpful in light of the recent spate of postings from UK folks expressing an interest in moving to L.A.

L.A. Times "Accent on Brits"

The content concentrates on people who are working in the entertainment industry but also has some general interest information for someone who wants to move from the UK to L.A. (0-1 visa). Also mentioned are some of the events comprising the annual BritWeek LA (through May 7), Palihouse, and a "community group called Brits in LA--whose members touch base via Facebook."

Article mentions that the "British Consulate estimates that there are an estimated 200,000 Brits living in Los Angeles County...the majority in the Santa Monica area."

Seems BritWeek is a clearinghouse for info about Brits in California:

Cherio! Spit spot! lol. I say, I wouldn't mind a few UK-ers - it's the overpopulation that I'm more concerned about. LMAO - I just moved to socal from norcal, I'm not helping either.
