That's too bad. Any news on what they'll put in there? Hillstone has been rebranding some of their properties so maybe it'll be another one of their brands. We really like the hillstone in here in town.

I stopped going there a few years ago....it was in a great place though..easy parking and a cool restaurant.

The food just went down hill big time about 5 years ago. They also have some corporate theory/deal where they time everything, so before you finish the appetizer, the entree is being served. I hate when they do that. I avoid that chain because of that practice...

That's a shame. I used to eat there frequently when I worked in Century City.

I'm just surprised this didn't happen any sooner. That place was ripe for closure. It hasn't been the same in over 10 years at least.

I read that it was a lease dispute, so I don't know if another Hillstone brand would be opening at Century City. A couple of now-closed Houstons that I know of suffered a similar fate, where the food suffered in the last couple of years before closure. It will be interesting to see what opens in the space.

no big loss. The meals there were uninspired & overpriced for basic California fare. It's a great location for a power lunch spot for industry types so I wouldn't be surprised if Westfield doesn't try to attract a celebrity chef for something more trendy & opulent.

That's a primo restaurant space... very excited to see what takes Houstons place. Don't see it sitting vacant for long at all.
