Planning on moving to Los Feliz and wondering if anyone knows of any nice affordable 1 bedroom apartments in the 800-900 range or 2 bedrooms for 1600-1800? Also, looking to be near the bar scene.

There aren't too many complexes in that part of Los Feliz. Most of it is privately owned smaller buildings and duplex and triplex buildings. One of those things where the neighborhood is small enough that you will need to visit and call numbers where you see for rent signs. There are ads out there on craigslist and such, but I'd never move into that area site unseen....seriously its like a box of chocolates.

Sounds good. I'll check out craigslist. I currently live in Orange County, so I'm about an hour away and able to check out areas beforehand.

I just moved to Los Feliz from Irvine and I pay 750 in a roommate situation. I live at the intersection of Franklin and Hillhurst. There are actually quite a few apartment complexes up and down the side streets between vermont and hillhurst. Not high rises, those are mostly on Los Feliz Blvd., but there are multi-unit complexes.
