I live in the Covina area and am fed up with Time Warner cable- the channels are always going out (pixilated) and it is frustrating, thinking about FIOS, but I have heard horror stories about the customer service- at least with TWC they have an office you can deal with directly- any opinions???

Have you seen this? Lots of that online.

Then again, is any provider perfect? I have Charter and I HATE them...but I almost switched to Dish and heard rotten things about them, same with DirectTV (and mush more expensive), and ATT U-verse...the list goes on.

Hmm... i had fois in a house i owned about 7 years ago (Redlands, CA) ... LOVED it. But - never had to deal with CS. I will tell you, however, that I have Time Warner now, and their CS Is AWFUL.

I've had DirecTV for like 7 years and I love it, I don't think I'd ever switch to anything else.

My grandmother has FIOS in WA, and I wasn't impressed .

They're so much more expensive vs the package deal (phone/cable/internet) you can get with Charter. But if cost is not an issue, then yea.

The great thing about those bundle packages is if you have any disputes they shut down everything till you relent.

I love my FIOS. Prices are slightly cheaper than Time Warner Cable where I live(I got a few more channels and a faster internet package). Never had service issues, outage problems, etc. Benefit of having completely new infrastructure, I imagine

I have 25/25 mbps FIOS with the mid-pack channel lineup.

Verizon FIOS is freakin' glorious. Haven't had ONE SINGLE internet or TV outage in the 2 years I've had it.

Super fast internet--It's ridiculous how fast home internet has gotten nowadays.

Super clear and snappy TV images--No pixelation/distortion and super fast channel change.

Oh yes, that helps. Try building an infrastructure like that on an old one (as in my hood) - seriously problematic.

Given a choice between cable (Charter) and U-verse, any thoughts? I def need fast internet speed (at least 20 DL). Thoughts?
