Hi,

I was wondering what's the traffic situation like from the UCLA area to USC area every MWF morning? Let's say you have to hit the USC destination by 9:00 AM. I assume you take the 405 S, then switch to the 10 E? Is it okay to leave at 7:30 AM, or is that considered late?

Also, what's the fastest route back from USC to UCLA at 5:00 PM on MWF?

Thanks for your help!

that's a reverse commute, so in theory it's probably under 45 minutes each way. i would probably go with the route you mentioned as well, though i'm not sure how easy it is to get on the 405 in the mornings in that area. some freeway entrances get really backed up during rush hour. if the 405 is too busy, you could try taking side streets down to the 10 and get on at overland.

Sepulveda might be a good choice, it almost never failed me.
