Hey my name is Jay, can anyone tell me if i can find a room for rent or an apartment for $400 a month with utilities included in LA? I am trying to move by the end of January. I have a job and will be transferring from new jersey to work at LAX. I have been told culver city is a good place, because i do not drive and need public transportation, and I need to be close to LAX. I also need a place where having a small dog is ok. Moderator cut: see note I need a place without any crazy rules though. I am an up and coming actor/reality tv personality and I am single. Moderator cut: see note If it is a room, I prefer to share with a female. Email: JayRaymondNYC@aol.com

Also look at the town of El Segundo, its a nice community and a room for that amount may be doable; an apartment, not so much. Congrats on the job and Good Luck!

I doubt you'll find a room in any decent situation for that price. $500, probably, $600 for sure you can find a room. Craigslist and roommates.com.
