Hey All!

I've been reading many posts and I've seen a couple of people mention an area called "The Valley". Can someone explain what specific cities are considered part of this area?

It's the 818 area code, roughly speaking, in the northwest "corner" of LA County.

Predominantly it's part of the City of LA but there are a few independent cities within it.

These San Fernando Valley "neighborhoods" are part of the City of LA (partial list):

Sherman Oaks
Van Nuys
Woodland Hills
Studio City
Tarzana
Chatsworth
etc.

These other cities are also in the SFV:
Burbank
Calabasas
San Fernando
etc.

That would be the northwest corner of the city of Los Angeles not the county. The northwest corner of Los Angeles County is Gorman, Pyramid Lake, and Lake Elizabeth.

I didn't know that such material was available at the library.
