Does anyone remember Santa Fe Salvage Depot in Los Angeles from the late 1960's? Would you happen to know if it was an actual salvage yard or affiliated with the railroad? Trying to figure out if it's the same as the Arts school or 2 different places. I'm not interested in the Arts School; just the salvage yard.

Thanks

You're most welcome! No, its just a link I had in one of my folders. I'm a rail enthusiest. I find it tragic that so many fine old railroad stations(like Penn Station in NYC, and Southern Pacific depot in SF)were demolished.:-(

Awesome!

What I'm actually looking for is something specific; I'll type it out in a private message. You may be able to lead me in the right direction.

Are you looking for what used to be Santa Fe Wrecking - a salvage yard? If so, it is now under new ownership and is called SoCal Architectural Salvage. It is located at 727 Washington St, LA,CA 90021. Phone is 213-765-8166.
