Hello--

I am currently looking to rent a place for approx. 8-9 weeks this summer near Beverly Hills. By "near" I just mean I can get there in a reasonable amount of time, as I am certainly not capable of Beverly Hills prices. I am not sure of the exact dates yet, but we may be able to work something out. Thank you!

Renting an apartment or a room in the 90035 (Pico-Robertson) zip code might be an option.

MUCH more info needed.

Budget, what is a reasonable amount of time, number of rooms, etc.

Agreed, too little info given. Besides your budget, what do you consider a "reasonable" amount of time (varies widely by individual) and do you mean by car of public transportation? And at what time of day (a big variable in the L.A. area)? Short-term rentals can be hard to find and expensive when compared to rentals of 6 months or a year. I assume you'd need a furnished place for such a short stay. You could consider corporate apartments (fully furnished, even with dishes, utensils), such as those of the nationwide Oakwood chain. But they aren't cheap. For example, those in Toluca Hills "from $99 per day," those in Marina del Rey "from $104 per day").

Otheriwse you might contact a property management company (deals with rentals), either an independent one or one that's part of a larger real estate company.

you should check out the North Village area in Westwood where all the UCLA kids live off-campus. I'm sure there will be tons of apartments (or even shared 2 or 3 bedrooms) that will be open when students go back home for summer break.
