Unfortunately, they bring their bad third world habbit and ways with them. This is because most major urban cities are run by democrats, who for the most part are liberal, these new inhabitants are allowed to conduct themselves the way they did in their respective third world countries from which they came. They are not forced to assimilate to our first world ways. As a result we continue to see a total break-down and deterioration of our society. Sadly, I do not see things improving any time soon. Thank you.
It doesn't help that we are becoming more overregulated and more nanny-stated and that more and more behaviors are becoming criminalized.

Liberal Democrats have changed, they've gotten less libertarian - like you depict them - and more uptight, interested in social control, and repressive; authoritarianism rules the day. I guess it's because they're "Progressive" now, not "Liberal".

Calling themselves "progressive" is just a way of re-branding themselves since the term "liberal" has falling into disrepute - with good cause. They are trying to style themselves after the Progressives of the early 20th Century - who actually did some good stuff. Those reformers would be apalled at todays "Progressives" and their over-regulation, intrusion into every facet of citizens lives, and arrogant holier than thou attitude.

While the early 20th century progressives did some necessary reforms, they tended to be paternalistic and arrogant. There were factions of the early 20th century progressives who were into overregulation, Some policies espoused by progressives came close to fascism.

The only reason "liberal" fell into disrepute was because liberals didn't defend their use of the term. It is still honorable.

However, I think this discussion's gone beyond the scope of this forum, so it's probably best ended right here.

How about just exploding carts or exploding wheels may be? Too violent? Then, minor electrocution after xx feet away from the store, perhaps?

How shall we "force" this assimilation? Re-education camps? Internment? Take lessons from North Korea on how to do it properly?

Nope, like 6 months ago...and he wasn't talking about official police business or anything, just swapping jokes with a co-worker about beating up protesters, lol.

As opposed to today's crop of craptastic Republicans and their intrusion into every facet of citizens' lives and arrogant holier than thou attitude. I'll take the "libs," at least we don't care what you do in your bedroom.

I don't know what this means. What intrusions? Republicans don't intrude into citizens lives - that is what the Democrats do. In your bedroom? I would hope you would keep whatever you do in there to yourself.

Not paying attention to the current state of politics, are we? The Godsters are foaming at the mouth...and steadily killing any chance they might have had at winning the presidency with every next redmeat declaration spewed forth. They just managed to alienate a huge majority of women voters, who outnumber men. Check it out - we don't even need Palin to have a daily batch of unintentional LOL moments every day this election cycle!

Anybody want King Newt to tell us more about family values?

We are discussing intrusion into private decision making and you cite opposition to a mandate that employers provide insurance that covers contraceptives as an example? The intrusion was the Obama admisitration telling Catholics that they have to check their religious beliefs at the door. Obama intruded into the free exercise of religion with the HHS mandates.

I think you need to come up with a better example.
