This is endemic to Los Angeles? Speaking as someone who actually leaves the city limits every once in awhile I would say talking on the cell phone while driving which, by the way I have seen happen in EVERY OTHER CITY I HAVE EVER VISITED.

Is this really the best we can come up with? Seriously?

Somebody had a bad day and had to rant.

Not just endemic to L.A. or any other city, people will do what they please in rural areas as much as urban areas. Why? Because they can.

Can't police everybody all the time.

The average inhabitant of the United States (not just L.A.) commits three felonies a day according to attorney Harvey Silverglate.

Let's see... I did a rolling stop, made an illegal left turn, and drove at 90mph on the 241 this past week. And those are the ones I remember.

I'm asking the forum: how many people here at least try to observe all laws and not be a nuisance to others? Thus far I do not believe anybody has answered my question.

Being a nuisance to others? There's always going to be people upsetting others. Sometimes it's against the law, and sometimes it's perfectly legal.

It's the assumption that we are a 'nuisance to others' FIRST, then law-abiding citizens LAST. Gee, how could anyone be offended by THAT?

Barely even infractions.

With California having a population of over 37 million, if you only consider a .0001% of bad people it would appear like they were crawling out of the wood work.

Not limited to LA, more of a general CA issue (and contrary to some other posters, this problem is not as bad in certain other parts of the country) - The speeding on quiet residential streets like they are normal two lane highways is incredibly annoying. I'm thinking of going for a water balloon shooter.
