Just a little bit of advice.

The city of Los Angeles is extremely hostile to small business.

Of the independent westside cities, Beverly Hills is notoriously anti-business. Santa Monica has a rep for being anti-business as well although its treatment of business has reportedly improved a little bit. Culver City's more pro-business. I'd assume the unincorporated areas on the westside are also more pro-business. Don't know about West Hollywood or (if one could consider it westside) Malibu.

Now, if it was in West Hollywood and near by: Pandora's Box, The Fifth Estate, the Ash Grove, Ben Frank's, or Pennyfeather's?

And for the Miracle Mile: The Pik Me Up Cafe?

California Oatcake Company would be COC for short, may be not the best name?

I'd suggest a more quirky, odd name to be noticed, "Cafe Cafe" or Cafe Le Cafe?

Cheers people! Some excellent ones in there. Thanks for noticing that acronym TurcoLoco! We are also thinking about Culver City, and possibly in Orange County too, maybe Huntington Beach.
