I don't think he will even finish the season.
I believe the Rams need to look for a replacement, and soon.

Bob.

Whose idea was it to sell the farm to move up to pick Goff?

The Rams is a business, and if they don't start producing winning games, he is toast.
That is just the reality.
It happens in all sports, and Rams football is no different.

I can't count the number of coaches in all sports, that have been replaced because they didn't produce.
Doesn't matter how popular a coach is, he/she needs to produce wins, and sadly that isn't happening with the rams.

Like I said, I really believe he is on his way to being replaced.

Bob.

They are early in a rebuilding phase and they are not expecting to win anytime soon. Fisher is doing a pretty good job with what he has to work with

To move from the #15 pick to #1 pick, the Rams gave up...

Their 2 second-round picks in 2016
Their third-round pick in 2016
Their first-round pick in 2017
Their third-round pick in 2017

That's insane and it will take years to recover! BTW Jeff Fischer did not want to do this trade up.

Fisher is a defensive guy and the offense desperately needs a spark. They've scored 10 points or less in 6 out of 11 games. And winning two games where they scored 9 points that were all field goal affairs doesn't make for great viewership. You need exciting football to drive ratings and get the LA market off the ground.

Of their remaining 5 games, they'll probably only beat the 49ers. My prediction was they'd finish 5-11 and I'm sticking to it.

Fisher will be out and John Gruden will come back to the NFL to coach the Rams.

But the offense has Gurley and nobody else that would even be a starter on most NFL teams. You can't blame him for lack of talent

I agree that he doesn't necessarily have the best talent around him, but Fisher hasn't had a winning season since 2008 with the Titans and it raises doubts whether he's the one to turn things around. I give him a lot of credit for a successful long-term coaching career, but lately things aren't so rosy.

If the NFL wants the LA market to boom and Stan Kroenke wants to start be able to pay off that $2.66 billion stadium fairly quickly, they need to develop an exciting team in the next 2 years that will drive TV ratings and get butts in the seats.

Especially when you're competing against a now very solid USC football team, the Rams need to start winning now.
