Anybody know what the timeline looks like for the construction project on the 5 north of Burbank?

I moved to the valley(Pacoima) almost a year ago, and find myself stuck in traffic at 1am every now and then when most of the lanes get shut down.
Will hopefully be moving back to LA , but I'm just curious how long this project is supposed to last.

The 5 in LA County needs widening south of LA from downtown to the OC border a lot more than it needs widening anywhere else.

Wow, pavement replacement from just north of Castaic all the way to the Kern County Line (which is actually almost in the town of Grapevine, at the northern end of the Grapevine) - through 2017!

Thanks for the graphic. Very informative. I wasn't aware there was THAT much work going on. It must be hell for truckers. Thankfully, the stretches I use regularly should be done by 2014.
