The Millennials is going to be the generation that missed the boat on home-ownership, I think. At least in SoCal.

I've noticed a lot more black families moving to places like the Antelope Valley, Moreno Valley, and Victor Valley. They move from the city to the affordable fringes of the LA Metro.
Maybe for out of state millennials. But there are thousands of LA natives have boomer parents that own billions of $$ of property here. Guess where it's all going?

...you'll find more LA natives in Portland, Vegas, and Austin than LA....

For those not part of the hereditary aristocracy that Prop 13 created, it has become something only for the wealthy. Also, people with families usually want places with better schools and don't want LAUSD neighborhoods.

Pretty sure LA is a majority native, or close to it. It's not like SF, where no onr is from CA.

Then you're wrong.
The Valley and Northeast LA has a lot of natives. Some in the South Bay.
A lot of Latino natives, not so much other groups.
