Easter Sunday (Glendale, Pasadena, Orange: organic, live in, bus)

I'd like to take my daughter out for Easter brunch. She's 15 months old, so somewhere kid friendly. I live in Burbank, so the closer the better. We're not religious at all, so nowhere religious, please.

I'd rather not have to make a reservation (and it may be too late, anyway).

Any thoughts?

HA HAH! I just found this in a search for "Easter." It's a year later, and I want to go to an Easter Brunch again this year. Last year we went to the Daily Grill attached to The Marriott, and it was OK but it was DEAD! We were, like, the only ones there!

I'd like to go somewhere a bit more hoppin' (pun intended) with kids and preferably the Easter Bunny will be there as well. Any thoughts? (Not really holding out hope since no one answered last year). And not willing to go to The Smokehouse (don't like it for a variety of reasons that I won't get into)

Oh, and I live in Burbank... so somewhere somewhat nearby. Thanks!

Hmmm. It's not close (would be about 45 minutes), but google for Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark. That would be a REALLY fun experience for a 2-year-old.

with a baby, I'd suggest Granville (Burbank or Glendale) or Le Grande Orange (Pasadena). Market City (Burbank) is always packed with kids on holiday weekends too. There's also Auntie Em's in Eagle Rock if you want something more organic/hipster-ish, but I'm not sure if they'll be open that Sunday.

Question about Granville. Apparently I've only gone on weekends? We tried going for lunch one day during the week and the hostess was all "Have you ever been here on a week day? Well... what you need to do is..." and spouted directions at us. Like, we couldn't just sit down and order.

We were both dying of hunger and rather than figure out the directions (they might have been super simple... I don't know. I tuned them out figuring my husband would know... and he apparently did the same thing), we just left and went somewhere else. It seemed confusing and weird to me.

So my question is: What's up with eating there on a weekday? Do you need to bus the table yourself or something?

Odd experience. I've been on weekend and weekdays with no weird experiences. It's one of Burbank's best eateries. Everything there is good.
