On the 27th of this month I will be flying 'home' (I say home since I was born in Ventura) and will be living in the Hollywood Off-Vine apartment complex. Now I have never been to California since I was born.

If anyone lives in or near this complex - thoughts? Is it nice? Praises/Criticisms about it?

Also what is LA like? I'm moving there to attend the LA Film School starting on the 29th of May (I am going for Game Production) and was also wondering if there were any thoughts on that school in general?

What's life in LA like? What should I expect? Coming from a guy who's lived on the east coast for the all 24 years of his life thus far, this move is very big for me. I'd like to get some opinions on this matter, so any form of feedback would be helpful!

Thanks a lot!

I would really pour through the reviews for that place. The ones I found were not pretty (e.g., roach issues, theft, vandalism, etc). I passed on that complex and looked at alternate living situations

The only reason why I chose it is because the other students of the school I am transferring to recommended it.

Not only that but considering I won't have a car when I pop out there, the walking distance to the school is another factor as to why I chose it.

Other than that, thank you for the feedback
