It's never gonna get back to that. The bloodline of blacks here will never call africa home ever again. THere will never be another elvis, never be another titanic, and the 50's "utopia" will never come back.

Unfortunately, neither are the burning crosses. Can you imagine what this country would look like after the sort of 'cleansing' some seek? Rednecks, having dispatched of all non-whites and 'Far'ners', now still angry and ignorant since they know no other existence, would simply turn on each other, Hatfield and McCoy style. Gotta find somebody to blame for one's own shortcomings.

Gang members can go burn in hell. Their apologists should join them there too.

Those who know not what they do should be spared. IE, young kids who's only roll models are the already lost folks now grown up. BOrn into gang families.

You do understand that kids growing up in a hood controlled by gangs often face either joining or not surviving?

This thread is about the truce, and the events surrounding it.

Please, let's NOT turn it back into a bickerfest re: race/minorities/ethnicity/immigration/etc.

i agree with prior posts. if money and jobs would eradicate gangs, the 460 million sent to detroit should have healed it.

The people there already grew use to that life. Can't change overnight. Generations is what it would take..

How was that money used in Detroit? People have been leaving Detroit in large numbers for years because of a lack of opportunities there.
