I live in Pasadena and I thought Adam Schiff is the US House Rep. But I just got the sample ballot and it says Judy Chu and two other candidates.

I know there was redistricting but Schiff's site says his district includes Pasadena.

Congressman Adam Schiff : The 29th District

Is Schiff retiring and Chu is running now for his place?

His current district does, the new districts won't take effect until after the 2012 election. So for now Schiff is still Pasadena, as of Jan 2013 it will be Chu (presumably, it being a left leaning district and she has incumbuncey advantage) and I think Schiff moved to some of the san bernandino area suburbs

Schiff's still in Burbank, not in San Bernardino.

His district will now include Hollywood, Silver Lake, Echo Park, West Hollywood and parts of Fairfax as well as more parts of the Valley. (Waxman's getting Venice, MDR, and parts of the South Bay in return for losing WeHo and Fairfax)

This is Schiff's new district (the 28th)
