Advice for someone looking to work in the Century City area? I am looking for the best public high school options for my girls and need some outdoor space for my dogs. I'm trying to stay under $1 million. Santa Monica offerings are tiny. Some smallish options in the canyons above Beverly Hills look feasible. Are there workable public high school options in Hollywood? Other options? Trying to keep commute under 45 mins each way. I hear heading further east or into the valley makes for a hellish commute.

Culver City would probably be your best bet (Culver City High School - Culver City, California - CA - School overview) since Beverly Hills is probably out of your price range. If you don't pushing your 45 minute drive out a bit, Woodland Hills (El Camino Real Senior High School - Woodland Hills, California - CA - School overview), Calabasas (Calabasas High School - Calabasas, California - CA - School overview) or El Segundo (El Segundo High School - El Segundo, California - CA - School overview) may be good options for you.

So El Segundo HS is more than a 45 minute commute to Century City? Wow. Someone had recommended Redondo Beach, but I guess that's a killer commute. Thanks for taking the time to respond. This is extremely helpful.
