What do you think of this idea ? Apparently a monorail in L.A has been proposed before .

L.A Magazine wrote this article critical of the proposal

Garcetti wants to consider a monorail, a mode of transportation most Southern Californians probably associate with Disneyland and Las Vegas.

In an interview with KNX-AM’s “Ask the Mayor,” Garcetti said an above-ground train can’t traverse the pass because of the steep incline.

“Well, monorails can, and they can go at about the same speed as railcars,” Garcetti said.

Yeah I heard about that . Musk is saying odds of success low but he's still pursuing it .
It's great when there are entrepreneurs willing to take risks like that and be innovative .

Maybe it will happen after a gondola to the Hollywood sign .

He seems to be getting a lot of ideas recently .

"It's going to be a big beautiful monorail, maybe one day they will call it the Garcetti monorail. I'll have the taxpayers pay for it !"

Maybe they can cancel the high speed train to nowhere and build the monorail instead?? Or is that too logical for politicians??

It is not in their range of capabilities to think about cancelling something and doing something different. They want everyone to pay for both.
