There are lots of Latinos in LA but are there neighborhoods that are mostly, say Guatemalan? If so, where are they? What about Cubans or Brazilian people?

I've seen demographic maps of these things but they just say Latino. The same is true of Asian groups.

Monterey Park is the biggest Chinese community in America but it has some Vietnamese people. I think the SW area of MP is not Asian at all, is that right? I'm thinking of the area with the Cook's Tortas restaurant. Man, that's a fantastic restaurant!

Fox is starting up a Spanish language TV network soon. I've read that 1/6 of America is Latin now. It's not good or bad. It's just the way the world is. Wish I'd taken Spanish and not German in high school.

Guatemalans:
-1. A small area of Westlake centered on Wilshire and Valencia has 1,503 Guatemalans.
-2. An even tinier area of Westlake at 6th/Alvarado has 1,300.
-3. Another tract in Westlake at 6th/Burlington has 1,230.
Your answer appears to be Westlake.

Cubans:
-1. A tract straddling Bell and Cudahy @ Florence/Otis has 283 Cubans (the most in LA County believe it or not).
-2. An area of Downey bounded by Lakewood/Florence/San Gabriel River/Firestone has 214.
-3. The tract directly north of ^ in Downey, bounded by Lakewood/Telegraph/San Gabriel River/Florence has 194.

Brazilians:
-1. An area of La Verne between Brackett Field and Bonita Ave has 149 who were born in Brazil.
-2. An area of Brentwood, south of San Vicente between 26th and Westgate has 136 who were born in Brazil.
-3. An area of Hollywood, NE of Hollywood/Highland has 122 people who were born in Brazil.

Thanks to American FactFinder, and Mapping L.A. for helping me compile the data.

Yeah, I was going to say the Westlake area for Central Americans for sure.

Also check out Highland Park for Salvadorean community (restaurants, etc. along Figueroa).

(Way down the list after Mexican obviously) Guatamalans and Salvadoreans seem to be no doubt the second and third largest hispanic group in LA, with every other group being distant fourth, fifth, etc.

A lot of Brazilians live in the Culver City/Palms area (along the Venice Blvd corridor west of the 405)

"Little Central America" is definitely in the Westlake/Pico-Union area

Echo Park used to have a good sized Cuban population but I believe they have moved over to the Silver Lake area (and some are in the Inglewood/Lennox/Hawthorne/Lawndale areas)

Thats where I am. I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. I guess I recall a couple Brazilian establishments on Venice. Interesting. Guess I haven't lived in the neighborhood long enough.

Its not like they are having Carnivale in the streets in the middle of the neighborhoods or something but that area (Palms/Culver City) is considered "Little Brazil"

^Hispanics are everywhere.. .South Central is not majority black anymore. There are similar number of hispanics. West LA is heavily white with some asian but plenty of hispanics. SFV is white in its southern and western ends but hispanic otherwise.

Whatever, latino/hispanic , I'll just use the term hispanic, hispanics are everywhere in LA county minus the far west side... Hollywood - sfv - south LA - east LA - sgv - south bay - SUBURBS san bernandino-inland empire - unless you're like in the pacific palisades you'll find hispanics.
