Hello...moving back to CA (rather running) from Dallas. I am born and raised in SF, CA - but SoCal is definitely a different animal.

We look on Craigslist for our rentals, but I am unsure if this is the same for SoCal. Are there any good websites to do this searching?

Also opinions - can I find something in the city for $2000 2/2 with garage? Don't want to go to outskirts. I remember areas of Culver City, Baldwin Hills, WeHo, some of NoHo...

I love this forum and appreciate the help.

Try Zillow.com and select rentals after inputting the zip code. I have seen a fair share of SFR and condo rentals.

Hotpads, padmapper, and walkscore all have the rentals+maps thing going for them which often include CL stuff. Westside rentals costs a little money to join but if that's your target area it's well worth it.
