Looking for picturesque venue near Sierra Madre and surrounding area for October 2013 to seat 100-125 with good food, parking. Reception only. Can we do this for $50-60 per person? Thanks! Kathy

Try Descanso Gardens in La Canada. Great venue for a wedding. Not sure about price, though.

Room is a little dated but has a glass wall with a patio and overlooks the course with the mountains in the distance. Have you ever attended a wedding there? They got a quote for 175 guests with a buffet for $2K less than Almansor Court which was booked anyways for their date. Still need to add some things but they are happy with it and it fits their budget.
