OK, maybe everything else you wrote is true.
I dont think making a dog into a pink cotton candy is to treat it well..:P It wouldn't even be allowed here. But sure, I don't assume everybody treats their dogs like that in the US.. but it's crazy that it is allowed.

But I do know it's very common that dogs gets to live their whole life in someones backyard. It's like letting a child grow up locked in a room with some toys and a toilet.. Poor kid and poor dog. But I hope most americans walk their dogs several times a day like they should?

I walk my dogs (chihuahua) 20 minutes each morning when I wake up, 1 hour during lunch, one 10 minutes when I get home from work and 20 minutes before we go to bed, that's normal in sweden anyway.. They have lives too.

And I have said several times why I want to move btw.. Please read before you post I don't like to repeat my self over and over just because someone's lazy and only chooses to read half of the posts.

Ww2 started 1939. Or maybe I should say "1941" since that was when america decided to join in.. Maybe that's what you've learned i school.
How euro-centric of you.

I've never seen anyone around here color their dog. Maybe some rich people do that. I haven't asked anyone how often they walk their dog, but when I had one so many years ago we would walk her twice, and then sometimes let her go free (which I now know isn't such a good idea). I see people out walking their dogs fairly often.

This is a small town - maybe people treat their dogs differently in the big cities.

I know. I just get tired of people from other countries acting like we're uneducated because we can't recall enough pleasant factoids from whatever country they are from whenever they wish to speak on the internet.

And then the OP's list of "common sense" things is entirely negative...

My list of Sweden:

Bjorn Borg
Strudel
Chef
Nazi collaborators (guess I can go negative)
Vikings
neutrality, but see nazi collaborators
Nobel prize
cold
Swedish Bikini Team

Guess I just don't feel the hate and want to pour it out into a list of supposed "common knowlege".

Like it really matters what someone from Sweden thinks about us we probably have a dozen states that have a greater population than their country, they know that we are not all the same.

Big Swede, when Americans get criticized they tend to flip out and take it real personally. In some regards foreigners do stereotype but in other regards they tend to be right on the money.

We're a nation of people in debt, no real safety net, uninsured, unhealthy and under-educated. I don't think my countrymen are stupid at all, we're just over worked, under-educated, malnourished, exhausted both physically and mentally, alienated from others, and paranoid. This combination of things leads to people being quite vulnerable to media manipulation, ultra-patriotism, conspiracy theories, drugs, obesity and the delusion that we're just one ticket away from being rich if we just remain positive.

If you do not believe that the media has an influence, then can you explain to me how it would look in Sweden to see 20% of your countrymen protesting in the streets against a social safety net? Would people even do that in Sweden? In fact, things that people in the third world would love to have, things that we still have like Medicare/Medicaid and welfare, these people want to get rid of. Defenders of these people attribute their beliefs to "American exceptionalism", LOL!
