Hi;

Are there any wealthy areas in So Cal with a relatively high concentration of Hispanics or Blacks?

Ladera heights/ Baldwin Hills.

Wealthy Latinos are less concentrated. I suppose you could start with Arte Moreno, owner of the Angels baseball team. Probably one of the wealthiest men in California.

Wealthy predominantly Black areas: View Park, Windsor Hills, Ladera Heights, Baldwin Hills, Blair Hills, Leimert Park

Wealthy predominantly Hispanic areas: Whittier (Friendly Hills, Spyglass Hill) parts of Downey, parts of Montebello, Chino Hills

There are certain neighborhoods..but it's going to be a lot less segregated than what you might find in Eastern or midwestern cities. Considering Hispanics are nearly 50% of the population in L.A ...there are many that will be in a variety of areas.

Wealthy black areas are mostly concentrated in Southwestern Los Angeles while wealthy Hispanic areas are mostly concentrated in Northeastern LA. I'm referring within the city.

While I've met plenty of wealthy blacks in LA I've never met a wealthy Hispanic. I don't know why that is. I don't think there are any wealthy parts of LA county that are predominately Hispanic. I think areas like Whittier and Chino Hills are solidly middle class, but not wealthy like Ladera Heights.

The Friendly Hills area in Whittier has a very high concentration of wealthy Hispanics.

Still very rare and such a small area. Hispanics are like 50% of LA. Blacks are about 11% yet have sevearl well off enclaves.

I agree with this.

I've met several very wealthy Hispanics. In Mexico City.

Hacienda Heights is about 42% Latino and has a median income over over $72,000. It's a hilly eastern suburb with well-kept tract homes & custom homes higher on the hill.

As for affluent black areas, View Park would take that prize. It's also the blackest area of LA. Closely after View Park would be Ladera Heights, Baldwin Hills and Windsor Hills. Of those four areas, only Ladera has its own ZIP code. The other areas share zip codes with the Crenshaw area.

Affluent Jewish areas would be most of West LA and the southerns parts of San Fernando Valley.

San Marino wears the crown as the most affluent Asian area. Arcadia, Cerritos, Walnut & Diamond Bar are middle to upper middle class areas w/ lots of Asians.

As for affluent, mostly white (non Hispanic, non-Jewish) cities/areas... Palos Verdes is about 70% white. Not sure how much of that number is Jewish, though. You'll find more affluent white areas in Orange County.
