HI IM A FELON I MADE ONE MISTAKE AND NOW I CAN NOT EVEN RENT BECAUSE THEY DO A BACKGROUND CHECK I MADEONE MISTAKE IN MY LIFE AND NO I PAY FOR IT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE I JUST GOT IN TROUBLE ONCE I HAVE 5 CHILDREN A JOB CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY SUGGESTIONS. I HAVE NOT BEEN IN TROUBLE BEFORE OR AFTER THAT ONE INCIDENT . IM CLEAN DONT USE DRUGS DONT DRINK JUST WORK AND TAKE CARE OF MY KIDS CAN ANYONE HELP ME OR GIVE ME ADVISE

You should probably avoid corporate housing and instead look for housing being rented by individual landlords. Small landlords are less likely to do extensive background checks.

Also, if you rent houses in neighborhoods where there is a large illegal immigrant population, these are already regions where they don't do to much digging into your background. So, try places like Maywood or Bell or that part of the county.

Ask friends of friends if they know anyone with an illegal converted garage for rent. My uncle has had a multitude of rentals and always leased out converted garages to make extra money. Just realize they probably will ask for payment in cash.
