It's my spot The food is good but I gotta eat it only a few times a month with all the calories of Southern Comfort Food.

So who else on this forum likes Roscoes Chicken and Waffles.

I do like Roscoe's used to go to the Pico location often when I was at USC. There used to be a waitress their named Mamma L (i think it was) she would say stuff like "Don't eat with your elbows on the table or i'm gunna pull yer year" She reminded me of the lady in the movie Big Mammas house. Also there would always be people selling bootleg movies and stuff in the parking lot...which just added to the experience.

The thing I didn't like was it seemed everytime you went they would change the prices. Kind of weird.

Also the chicken was kind of inconsistent , but it has a unique taste for fried chicken.

It's funny that people that haven't been there always question the chicken and waffle combo...

"Is it a chicken inside a waffle...I dont get it"

I do have to go back sometime soon.

I think Roscoe's is pretty good... I love the combination of sweet and salty and they also have decent biscuits and gravy.

I used to go all the time, but I haven't been in a while. I was just talking to some friends about coordinating a Roscoe's night in the near future.

Pasadena?...doesn't sound like they would have the bootleg DVDs being sold outside there...that's part of the Roscoe House of Chicken and Waffles experience!

You know your boy does! I've been going to the one in Inglewood lately, it's got the fastest service I've seen of the three in LA.
