You are just a sweetheart. That is a wonderful idea. If i was in Cali I'd do just that!

The air is bad over here closer the beach. I can't imagine how people with respiratory problems are making it inland. The very young and old are supposed to stay inside.
I hate the Santa Anas!

Malibu, San Diego, Lake Arrowhead, Canyon Country, Agua Dulce, Irvine area & others ... lots of homes being damaged or destroyed. Its so sad...

I live in S. California and I have started to gather our 'important' papers, photos, etc just in case something starts or spreads into our area.

Prayers to all who are affected by these horrible fires. I also send my prayers to the fire fighters, police, etc. who are trying to keep people safe & get these fires out!
There was one in Moorpark, but it has been fully contained. Check out that google maps thing and you will see. You're lucky it didnt reach over into TO

I also heard that pretty much every firefighter in CA is down here helping. Why not send some from AZ and NV?

Yes, there was a fire not too far from us, in the Eastern part of Santa Rosa Valley but thank goodness they got that one under control quickly.

We now have to worry about the Magic Fire, which started near Magic Mtn. Its also being called Stevenson Ranch fire - well, its heading towards Simi Valley. Its so scary!

The air is so thick with ash & smoke .. its really hard to breathe. Good news is that the winds are suppose to die down a bit over the next couple days, that hopefully will help the firefighters.

We cant actually SEE any of the fires from here, but we sure can see all the smoke - and a slight glow to the sky where the fires are.

I feel so bad for all those who have lost their homes - hundreds of families!
